The rigorous training covered a wide range of critical disciplines, including CPR and AED certification, vehicle rescue, basic structural firefighting, marine rescue, HAZMAT responses, forcible entry, and car fires. The academy also provided demonstrations from numerous other emergency response agencies, giving the junior members a comprehensive look into the profession.

"This program provides a crucial foundation for their development, and we are grateful to the Delaware State Fire School for offering such a high-quality academy. Our members represented the department exceptionally well, and we look forward to their continued growth and service to the community."
